Netpresenter / AMBER Alert Netherlands is looking for a:
Public Affairs Manager
As Public Affairs Manager at Netpresenter you are involved in all Public Affairs activities, but also in more generic Netpresenter Public Relations & communications. Netpresenter is also the company behind AMBER Alert Netherlands. This means a large part of your activities will be focused on this national child alert.
In the role of PA manager, you will have responsibility for/ be involved in:
- Public Affairs – Netpresenter and AMBER Alert PA in The Hague and Brussels. This includes documenting, building out and maintaining the PA network, gathering relevant information and planning/ managing relevant meetings for management;
- Copywriting – this includes the writing of reports, subsidy applications, project proposals, presentations and briefings;
- Public Relations – this includes writing and distributing press releases, case studies and articles in Dutch and English, planning interviews and press monitoring;
- Other recurring communication tasks – including briefing of press & public and marketing activities, such as DM, social media, etc.
The Netpresenter office is located in Beek, Limburg (the Netherlands).
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enterprising, decisive and creative colleague that enjoys working in a small, close-knit team. You have got a bachelor or master degree in communications or marketing and have legal knowledge. You have at least 5 years of experience in PA and PR and preferably also in crisis communication. Affinity with politics and the media is a prerequisite.
You have great project management skills and are able to manage a team of professionals within a project. You are immune to stress and continue to work organized and establish priorities under pressure. Eye for details, pro-activity and a flexible mentality is highly important in this role.
You are fluent in Dutch and English (reading, writing and speaking) and excel in writing easy-to-read, clear texts. Command of French or German is a preference. You also have affinity with software/ IT & the PC holds no secrets for you.
